Thank you so much, we are so full of joy

Right after we were already completely overwhelmed, the next sweet news arrived: Birgit's godchild is a teacher, and the school where she works participated in this year's WDR fundraising campaign, collecting donations for people in need. On the day of the handover, the children in her class (7-8 years old!) found €50 on the street and decided to donate it to us, saying: “We've collected enough for people now, this is for animals in need.”

Seeing such awareness and commitment in such young people makes us really happy and shows us that the next generations are already committed to a better world for everyone❤️

We may have shed a tear or two at seeing so much love 🥹
